2015 – IMA Marocco

Difundimos la Convocatoria al Primer “Encuentro de Artistas por el mundo”, denominado: “SALAM”. Realizado por I.M.A a celebrarse en Marrakech, Marruecos, entre el 30 de agosto y el 6 de septiembre de 2.015.

El Encuentro propone organizar una reunión de artistas de diversas partes del mundo, donde trataremos de conjuntar visiones diferenciadas mediante el entendimiento de artistas, para lo que realicemos un intercambio cultural en el que cada cual aporte su conocimiento, su idiosincrasia, su cultura, sus emociones, su música. El “tema” de la Exposición: “SALAM” responde a la búsqueda de la paz y el entendimiento mutuo del hombre.

Dicen que todos los pueblos fueron una vez una sola y gran tribu, hablando todos el mismo idioma; que posteriormente, la tribu se dividió en muchos grupos y se dispersó por todas partes. Si en el principio el hombre terminó confundido, ahora esa confusión se supera en el entendimiento mutuo que hay en las personas.

El ARTE es el medio es posible que todos nos podamos encontrar y nos podamos entender. Este idioma universal es el que permite a los hombres comprenderse mutuamente.

Para lograr dichos objetivos, hemos pensado realizar entre todos dos murales y una escultura de reciclaje.

Cada artista se compromete a su vez, a donar al Encuentro, una obra propia ya realizada con anterioridad.

MOROCCO INTERNATIONAL ART RESIDENCY 2015 “SALAM”

We launch the call for the first “Meeting of Artists for the world”, called “SALAM”. Made by IMA to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, from 30 August to 6 September 2015.

The Meeting proposed to organize an encounter of artists from around the World, where we try to bring together different visions through understanding artists, for which we make a cultural exchange in which each artist will contribute their knowledge, their idiosyncrasies, their culture, their emotions , their music. The “theme” of the exhibition: “SALAM” responds to the searching for peace and mutual understanding of man.

It´s said that all people were once a single great tribe, all speaking the same language; later, the tribe was divided into many groups and dispersed everywhere. If in the beginning man ended up confused, now that confusion is overcome through mutual understanding among people.

Art is the medium that make possible that we can find us and we can understand us. This is the universal language that allows men to understand each other.

To achieve these objectives, we plan to make two murals and a sculpture of recycling with the participation of all artists.

In addition, each artist agrees to donate to the meeting, one’s own work already done before.
